After nine years in business and too many Awards to count, Moms, Maids + More will be closing its doors. The lovely Erin Green started the business to fulfill a childhood dream, and it blossomed into something so much more meaningful. She's seen a lot over the years.
"Taffeta being 'in' then 'out' (then “in” again); color trends of brown with pink, tiffany blue, dark purple, and the now popular 'non-color' scheme; the rise and fizzle of Yelp (thanks for keeping us on our toes), talented women inventing can’t-live-without-them products (Spanx and Solemates, to name a few), and the legalization of same-sex marriage in our state."
So why the change?
"I am just ready for a new chapter, and my brain is starting to reach in other directions. Our lease ends at the end of January, and while I had hoped to find a buyer prior to that date, it was not in the cards. This has been a sublime and extremely fulfilling journey, and I thank you all for being part of it."
The closing sale runs through Sunday January 27th with formal dresses starting at $20, Spanx up to 50% off, jewelry starting at 35% off. In addition, all fixtures are available for sale, including a shabby chic display hutch, plush ottomans, various shelving units, mirrors, and more.
