What you may not know about me is that I started this life wanted to be a movie star. It's a long, long road that I eventually gave up about ten years ago. But I never tire of the awards shows. Tonight was the Screen Actors Guild Awards, which is a very special award to actors, and everyone who wins has an emotional speech about how and why they started acting. It's a treat. I usually cry a little bit right along with the winners. Viola Davis got me this year (looking gorgeous in Marchesa).
And even though she wasn't nominated (which is shocking, actually), the lovely Emma Stone just breaks my heart. She is young, beautiful, talented and on the cusp of a fabulous career, and she showed up on the red carpet looking stunning in Alexander McQueen.
It's an amazing dress, and a great red carpet look head to toe. Someday I'd like to walk the red carpet in exactly this look.
Tina, I loved those two gowns also and I thought Rose Byrne's pants ensemble was really different and refreshing. I agree, Emma is wonderful.
