PR: the jacket

in my mind this whole carpet as clothing thing works.  in reality, not so simple.  the raw edges of the carpet unravel even after I've sewn them together.  i put a chocolate brown cotton lining in the jacket, thinking it would act as the solidifier and keep the raw edges taught, but the seams are still unravelling .  i like the shape, but it's proving a little more ornery than i had anticipated.  enjoy the photos of the prototype, i may just start over.

i added a second layer of volume to the skirt and i like how that's coming along.  i'll add one or two more and then start crocheting the top layer with design details.
